Izimpande Ezintsha is a documentary that immerses viewers in the daily rhythm of KwaMashu’s taxi life, challenging misconceptions about the people who sustain it. Shot on location in Durban, the production required extensive travel, heavy gear handling, and hands-on management of every stage from fieldwork to post-production. The result is a powerful, authentic portrayal of resilience, community, and humanity within KwaMashu’s taxi industry.
